- Actually, no. In fact, it took several years for them to appear. Even
- then, they didn't work on many A1000s (and possibly A500/A2000s) with
- certain brands/models of floppy drives. In fact, it made the click
- worse, which could potentially end up damaging the drive. (Both my
- internal and external A1000 drives are like this; I just kept disks in
- them while using the machine.)
