  16. Actually, no.  In fact, it took several years for them to appear.  Even 
  17. then, they didn't work on many A1000s (and possibly A500/A2000s) with 
  18. certain brands/models of floppy drives.  In fact, it made the click 
  19. worse, which could potentially end up damaging the drive.  (Both my 
  20. internal and external A1000 drives are like this; I just kept disks in 
  21. them while using the machine.)
